Session Overview

DevOps has been gaining traction across all software teams across organization. Most teams focus on two specific areas

  1. Tools deployment around CI and CD
  2. Culture integration between Development and Operations teams

In this talk, we will revisit some of the reasons for DevOps. Sudipta would discuss some of the Critical Success Factors and detail some specific approaches that should be a part of any team's DevOps strategy. He would also discuss testing and branching strategies, including handling databases, CI and Infrastructure strategies. We would highlight anti-patterns in each of these areas so that teams may consciously take steps that will drive them away from the DevOps objectives.
